Welcome to G&G Automotive Services. By booking a service, MOT, repair, or upgrade with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

  • We offer vehicle servicing, MOT testing, diagnostics, repairs, and performance upgrades for cars and vans.

  • All work will be carried out by qualified mechanics to a professional standard.

  • Any additional work required will be discussed and authorised by you before being carried out.

2. Estimates & Quotes

  • Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time.

  • Final costs may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle and the parts required.

  • If additional parts or labour are needed, we will inform you before proceeding.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings can be made by phone, email, or in person.

  • We ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Missed appointments without notice may incur a fee.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full on completion of the work, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards.

  • Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received.

5. Parts & Warranty

  • We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or equivalent-quality parts unless otherwise requested.

  • All parts and labour are covered by a standard 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first), unless stated otherwise.

  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or work carried out by another garage after leaving our premises.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and insured before bringing it to us.

  • You are responsible for removing any personal belongings from the vehicle before work begins.

  • We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

7. Liability

  • We are not liable for delays caused by parts suppliers, courier issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • We will not be held responsible for pre-existing faults or damage identified during inspection.

  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the work carried out.

8. MOT Testing

  • MOTs are carried out in line with DVSA regulations.

  • If your vehicle fails, we will provide a failure notice and estimate for required repairs.

  • Free retests are available on repairs we have carried out, subject to DVSA rules.

9. Performance Upgrades

  • Any modifications or tuning are carried out at the customer’s request and may affect manufacturer warranties or insurance policies.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform their insurance provider of any modifications.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
